It is insanely simple. It just takes a second to get the powerbomb. Try again. Only boost once, and wait a second. It'll bring up "power bomb collected". And if it doesn't, just do a second boost but still don't boost into the lava. As for Ruined Fountain, you can't use this glitch to get EVERYTHING. If you could, why do you think I'd have individual items that can be collected with this? Don't you think I'd put up all the items?
Don't make a blanket statement and say it applies to 'the rest of the game' then. >_<

Thanks for the clarification on the pb.  I'll try it when I get the chance.  Btw, how do you get the glitch to work in frigate crash site/frigate access tunnel?  I've tried and failed to even get stuck in the wall.

Something interesting about the ice spreader: I've had it collect itself in fiery shores (yes, by boosting).  I can make a vid of that if you want too.
I meant it applied to most of the game. I didn't think it would apply to everything. Even though that was back when you could get the MW e-tank and Truth with the glitch, and nothing else was tested.

As for FCS, never tried it. You probably can refer to the videos of the FCS SW.
wtf i can't see Maru's vid.

Has anyone tried Artifact of warrior yet?
If you were trying to d/l within the past 13 or so minutes, you were unable to because I was uploading a new (non-lava-bath) version.

Nobody's tried artifact of warrior yet, afaik, because nobody's been able to get to the room.
For the Frigate Crash/ Frigate Access door, you'll need to use the WTR glitch first. A shallow SJ just far enough into the room to jump without hitting your head on the door frame. You'll either land on the top of the door or just in front of it, and the room will disappear. Touch the door or the wall above it, morph. You'll be stuck.

-Artifact Temple: I attempted to enter Impact Crater without the artifacts using this glitch, and I came VERY close. I was able to get the first cutscene to trigger, but the second one where Ridley appears did not. (Edit: I actually think this is the one that occurs any time you get near the artifact circle with a new artifact. Too bad.)

Try doing this after you trigger the first cut-scene, and it might have success. I'm not sure, but a guess.
The reason I didn't bother making a video for that is because you still get the same cutscene, no matter what. Most likely, you COULD use this glitch to activate the cutscene with Ridley; however, this would not be possible until you've collected all the Artifacts. The only other way would be to trick the game into thinking you have them all.
charge beam weirdness.  If you get the charge beam without lowering the gate, you're kind of trapped.  Reloading the room by going to the Dynamo doesn't get rid of the gate either.  It's messed up like the Arboretum gate if you dbj over it, except this one has some points where you can jump in and stand on the backside.

You can probably use the secret world to get out - I haven't tried yet.  And since I haven't gotten out of that yet, I haven't confirmed that the missile expansion I also got was the one in watery hall.  Probably is, but I'm not sure yet, given as how I got the ice spreader in the next room over.

Shocked  Laughing Nice one! As far as escaping goes, the SW is ONLY available in the 0-00 version of MP (unless Nate can confirm it's existence in the 0-01 version too, but seeing as no-one here but Nate has that, it;s kind of a moot point). Perhaps you can scale it from behind by sticking to it in morphball form and bomb jump up and over the top of it? (As done when climbing walls in ball form in a SW state).

Worth testing out at least...
I'm pretty sure that you can't bomb jump out from the left edge of the gate, at least (when I say left, I'm referring to my point of view while behind it).  The wall at the top is solid.

I'll play around with it more later.
haha, i like how you got the missile expansion and the charge beam at the same time.
Duh.  Just keep boosting against it like you would the invisi-wall in Omega Research if you come in from the back end.  Can't believe I didn't try that before.

METROID PRIME 2: ECHOES:
-Lift the Vault without spinning the spinners (note: still requires boost ball, so don't get excited). (Thanks, Master ZED)
-Move Training Chamber's giant statue without the bomb slot. (Thanks, Master ZED)

Ehh... no.  I understand that the wording I used on the second one (activating the bomb slot) was misleading, but still.  Correction time.

1. I didn't lift the Vault.  I retrieved Screw Attack, set off all four sleeping Rezbits and ended up in the spinner to the left (facing the door from Vault) and close to the door.  There was no cutscene for SA because the vault was still down, much like if you get Darkburst without coming from Transit Station, or the Echo Visor without going to Hive Summit, etc.

2. I activated the bomb slot, but the statue wouldn't move.  You see, the bomb slot on the statue doesn't become active until you're on the statue's platform (I don't understand the reason behind this, but it's true).  This small detail made moving the statue impossible as a subsequent boost attempt only returned the ball to normal, it didn't even go into the spinner. :(

EDIT: Oh!  And Millzy is wrong about that getting out of Shore Tunnel with Ice Spreader, without Power Bombs thing.  At least as far as I'm concerned anyway; I didn't even try to get out without PB, but I did find that power bombs work on either side of the walls.  You don't have to blow the tunnel open immediately, you can do it afterward, but without PB... eh.  You tell me.

I actually thought of that as well, but didn't think of adding it in!  Embarassed Good job on working on a way out again. Btw, in your vids, you have boostball without wave or ice. I'm assuming you used an AR to give you boost from the start?
But wave beam or ice beam aren't required to get the boost ball

Lol, We should stop breaking wide open MP before we forget how we are intended to play. Laughing

Maybe 5 years later, nobody here will remember who are Thardus or the hive totem. Nobody will remember what is the crashed frigate. Or maybe nobody will remember how the gravity suit looks like and what you're supposed to do with it Laughing

It's genuinely too late for that for me I'm afraid. If I want to play it "normally" now, I REALLY do need to use the hints system for a reasonable portion of the game...  Embarassed  Embarassed
I'll add the new video and also fix up the MP2 uses, as well as add Master ZED's new use of getting the Sandcanyon power bomb without SJ.

That doesn't tell him WHERE they are though.

Well, I KNOW where they are (I've played the game more than enough to memorise it pretty much inside out), but it was the actual "order" of which to get the items that I had - pretty much - forgotten. So cheers for that list Mr. Potter :D
Added locations anyway. :P

EDIT: "Flickerball" is now the official name for the glitch. It's apparently better than "infinite speed bug".
