The missiles and E Tank that everyone seems to be missing is probably a result of not backtracking for stuff early on. There's a decent number of things I left hidden towards the beginning that you can't get until you start getting your upgrades.
hmm..
I beat it with 11 missiles. oh well, didn't really need any more anyway.
did you make kraid easier?
I normally have to use savestates to beat kraid without supers..
please make the difficulty a little bit harder? [-o<

Please don't make it harder. D:

This is about the right level for the start of the hack. The problem is that kraid is a bit to early.

kraid is placed excellently!
The problem with Kraid is that the average player won't have gone back and found the missiles and energy I left in some of the first rooms, and they might not have even found some of the other missiles that I left strewn through Cyclonia and Sanctorium. That means that you'll have probably 2 E Tanks and 11-20 missiles and no charge beam for Kraid. That means that it can get harder simply because you have no backup weapon to use if you run out of missiles, meaning that you've got to resort fo dodging and refilling.

I think Kraid is a perfect difficulty for where he is so early in the hack.

That's entirely your fault. Nice try though, but was it really worth the 2 extra missiles? :P

Actually the only 2 missiles I miss from getting all items. So, hell yes. But I don't know if the reverse-crumble missiles in crateria are intentional.

Btw, in Kraid's room you can reverse-crumble and get stuck forever.
Reserve crumble? That's a term I haven't heard before... Is that where you jump through ceilings?

And also, you most likely have NOT gotten all the items available to you in Gaia Heights, unless you looked in SMILE. ;)

My maximum is 3 energy tanks 30 missiles 3 super missiles and all the basic upgrades. So no, I have not gotten all items. And I haven't checked in smile =P
You're close then but for all intents and purposes, you've found them all. The last 2 missiles are able to be gotten now, but the planned time for them to be picked up is much later, when you return to Gaia Heights. You can find them now if you find the backdoor I built in to get them. extra_smug

There's actually another 5 pack you can get if your IBJ is really good, but you'll never be able to find it without looking. I'm planning on moving its location before the final release because it's rather unfairly located.

I'm fairly sure I've picked up that one. Although that means I'm missing another 7 missiles >_>
Was it hidden in the ceiling of a large open room in Gaia Heights?
oh crap, i forgot you cn pass through kagos, i could get that missile pack in gaia heights in the first space pirate room using it (the room with 1 single grapple block and a gate)

also, FP, in kriole's smv, if you unmorph in the missile place, you get perma stuck too, you should do something about those places, i found like 4-5 (posted the pics in a .rar file in an earlier post)
I saw the .rar and will fix the problems eventually.
;D thats good to hear, you don0t know how annoying it is for me to get stuck, and somehow i always manage to get stuck in the most unbelievable places xd.

oh yeah i forgot to mention this in other posts, i LOVED the autofire thing, it makes killing anything 5 times easier and faster xd, kraid went down so fast i was like, "wtf, these aren't even super missiles", and i also liked the whole "Mother brain under construction" thing (i like to call it that way xd)

Yes it was. It kinda reminded me of the missile in outer WS just before the gravity suit.

You can't. You need to pass the kago from above, and above the kago is the ceiling. And that is a super missile, if you run towards the kago and shoot the shot can pass through the bottom of the kago and hit the... uuh... itemballthingy.
I'm all for sequence breaking but you guys are too much. laugh new
where was charge beam?
Charge Beam has not actually been placed yet. In fact, I don't even have it in my test files.

Oooh, charge beam being not early on? That's interesting or annoying depending on how you set up enemies. I trust you though.

Not playing this beta, but when there's a near-finished version I'm willing to really go through and bugbust everything, and lord knows I've got a knack for finding problems...
Thanks for the offer Acheron. I'll definitely keep you in mind for testing whenever that time comes.

As for Charge Beam, not only is it not early, it's also requiredShocked How is that possible? Think about it. Kago minus Charge Beam = Impassible (without that glitch >.>). You get it? :-D

I think you should leave the Kago glitch intact (don't try to fix it too hard) as that'll make for a much more interesting speedrun/TAS option some day.
Maybe I should. I'll probably forget to fix it in every place anyways. Rolling Eyes

Don't worry though, I'm planning a couple of intentional SBs for those who can't kago glitch. Wink

In my experience, hacks with betas never get finished.

NOOOO!!! And the topic I posted that in never got its hack finished, too. Same with GK.

Also, an intentional SB is not a sequence break at all.
