It's NEVER the player's fault when they get stuck.

This is almost true.
Someone was playing through Gravy, and after getting the Varia suit, jumped back down into the pit even though the crumble block was visible. I think this one was the player's fault.

Generally speaking though, permastuckness = design flaw

So, is there something that I can fix? I did my best to make it as clean as possible.

...Perhaps having the enemies in the room drop pickups?

Best I could come up with.

Actually, it's a good idea. The reason why it doesn't drop items because the e-tank is in the next room. This time, I'll make it drop anything but energy. How's that sound?

Thumbs up!

That's pretty much the only solution I can think of without having to start the game over.

Ok, it's up now. The update is in the same link where you download my hack. I haven't tested it so would you mind test it for me? I have lost my save data.

Works like a charm. Thanks for taking the time to change it.

The Lower Norfair entrance was insane. Hmm... this hack lives up to its name pretty well.

Edit: Am I supposed to have PB's yet? I never found any while preparing for LN, but I can't seem to go forward without them.

You can only get PB's after you beat Ridley If you find that you can't go forward, you need to collect more e-tanks and reserve tanks (tanks for the LN of course).
Wow, I was being dumb, the reason I couldn't progress wasn't because I was dying.

I though I needed PBs for the chozo (lack of) acid room.

You could just go down and head directly to Troizo's room.
Yeah, I figured that out now. I hadn't bothered to see if I could bomb through the floor.

They're shot blocks so you don't have to bomb them.

So, earlier you said that it is impossible to get PBs before Ridley. This is not true, the PBs in Lower Norfair (Near the unheated room with the fireflies) can be gotten without the Varia Suit, which I am assuming is the reward for beating Ridley. I'm not sure, but I think this might make an RBO run of this hack possible.

Edit: I just beat Ridley. I have to say, the run through Lower Norfair was just crazy. Against both GT and Ridley, I ran out of energy during their death animation and was forced to use pause screens to stay alive long enough to get refills. Really fun hack so far.

Even if you did get your PBs before varia suit, I don't think you can make it out alive.

Is there any reason why I have barely enough health to make it to Ridley's room?

I have 9 E-Tanks.

Edit: Shit! Nevermind.

Yeah, you did it right. 9 e-tanks plus one more and it will give you 10. Let's see if you could beat Ridley.

Remember, the sooner you beat Ridley, the better chance that you will make it out alive since you won't get refill on your way out.
I am stuck in the pre-botwoon room. There is a solid block where there used to be a shot block, and I can't find any other way through.

Have you tried using your grappling beam?

I found the grapple blocks now, but I'm not sure what to do with them. Am I supposed to push myself through something?

Edit: I got it.

Edit 2: I just finished this with 6:13 and 90%. I have to say that the quality really dropped after Draygon. I can understand that it is hard to make the wrecked ship and kraid's lair difficult enough to stay on par with suitless LN and maridia, but making a bunch of things that kill you instantly is a lousy way to do it. It doesn't really do much for the challenge, instead turning the gameplay into a tedious state-loading fest.

ten minutes for MB escape is a little much, don't ya think  8-)

Thanks for your help! Maybe either I'll make RBO Insane 2 or just update this. Which one is better?

Edit: Is anybody else still playing this?
Can someone tell me what I do after I get morphball?
Find your way out. There is a secret passage, but you need to find it.

I have searched but I cannot find it Sad
Can you give me a hint? Exclamation

Edit:I found what I must do Wink
It was well hidden
Was I supposed to get the Screw attack so early(before bristar)?
If not, you should add something better than a nasty plant to guard it.aiwebs_008
It was really hard to get it without super missiles Evil or Very Mad

Yeah, you're suppose to get this early in this hack.

You will not get super missiles in the while. You still got long way to go.

I'm stuck again Crying or Very sad
I have:
15 Missiles
1 Energy Tank
Morph Ball
Bombs
Speed Booster
Screw Attack

I don't know what to do in kraid's area (brinstar)
If I go to Norfair I die even if my health is full
I managed to get to the Spazer room's door (in the original Super Metroid) but it's locked
I cannot go back to where I came from because there is a missle switch door facing the opposite direction.
Please help me.
