This is my new addition to the category of one room hacks. Thanks to DMantra for his inspiring 'One Room Hack'.
The hack ends - and you win - once you find the X-ray Scope.
I think my hack is essentially finished, but of course I don't try things that I don't think to try - so that's where I need your help. In particular, are any items skip-able? e.g. I'm pretty sure you could skip High Jump using IBJ. Since this is still a beta, be sure to use plenty of save-states.
EDIT: This hack is finished. Only major bugs will be fixed at this point. Thanks to everyone who helped me test!
Skills needed:
-mid-air morph or IBJ
-single-wall wall jump or IBJ
-mock ball
-speed mockball
-crouch-jump for extra height
-easy short charge
(let me know if I missed any)
Total items: 19
Other notes:
-The boulders are insta-death (Do not touch! Unless...)
-There are hidden crumbling grapple blocks, but their presence is always hinted at.
-Most items look like other items. This is caused by having too many items in one room.
-You can refill your energy and items at the "save station" you start at. Enter it just as you would Samus' ship. (It actually is the ship.)

Fun hack so far :)
Having trouble finding health to do more shinesparking. Please don't tell me what you have is what you get.
I've noticed one place that's easy to get stuck if you don't get bombs, but its no big deal unless you're the type of player that saves before thinking. See picture below.

You know whats really funny? After reading Dmantra's post, I still got stuck there.
It looked good, but I agree with Dmantra. There needs to be more energy for a certain shinespark. Also, I got charge beam early (i think).

nice hack so far. and it's possile to get unstuck, just watch my smv. note that it is on the new Snes9x v1.51 (choose one of the bottom 2) that says it gets rid of desync's. I haven't ran it problems yet, so it's working. |

awesome hack, got everything... i guess i was stuck at the beggining before getting the morph ball, that was hard... but i did finish it without the spring ball  kinda useless if you are master of midair morph hehe also i was clueless why you added the Screw attack, unless i missed on what to use it :-s btw, did you... hide the upgrades with other stuff or its just a item glitch that i see stuff like morph and such as plasma beams? xd Is this the whole item set in this game? -Charge

It's a glitch that happens when there are too many items in one room. Consider it a feature... Is this the whole item set in this game? -Charge

There's an E-Tank that I think many of you are missing. You should get it after Ice but before Plasma Haven't foud Ice or Plasma yet so those directions don't really help :| I've got: grav wave missles morph bomb spring screw hi-jump speed 29 health and 0 missles |

DMantra, you're supposed to get Power Bombs next. You'll be able to get Ice after Super Missiles. Also, you can resupply at the starting point (the ship is still there, it's just invisible). |

Thanks for the find, but I think you can escape by a combination of jumping and morphing. If fixed it anyway. |

Here's early charge. However, I do believe I am stuck at the end of the smv.
I can't believe how early its possible for it being a later item. All you need is:

Beta 2 is up. See the first post. Hopefully you can no longer shinespark to the Charge Beam (but I'm not good with tricky shinesparking, so it might still be possible). I also fixed a few places where you can get stuck. Is it possible to get Plasma without the extra E-Tank? It's not supposed to be. |
